Rolled Hem Sewing Machine Presser Foot Set for Brother, Singer, and Low Shank Machines
The hem feet available come in three different sizes: a 4/8" hemmer foot (13mm wide rolled hems), a 6/8" hemmer foot (19mm wide rolled hems), and an 8/8" hemmer foot (25mm wide rolled hems). The shape of the rolls in these hem feet makes it remarkably easy to fold the hem, and they grip the fabric very well, ensuring that it stays neatly aligned, even when hemming thicker fabrics or more standard hems. Instead of the narrow hem foot, we also offer a half-inch, a 3/4-inch, and a 1-inch wide hem foot, which can be useful for tasks such as hemming a cotton skirt.
To determine if your sewing machine is a low-shank machine, you can examine the thumb screw that holds the foot in place. Measure the distance from the center of the screw to the floor plate. If this distance is 1/2 inch, then you have a low-shank machine.
These hem feet are compatible with a wide range of low-shank sewing machines, including those from Singer* (some Singers may require a low-shank adapter), Brother, Babylock, Euro-Pro, Janome, Kenmore, White, Juki, New Home, Simplicity, Necchi, and Elna. The package includes 3 rolled hem feet, each in a different size to accommodate your specific hemming needs.
